Involving, mobilizing and educating the community on the potential of ENBT in the Babitonga Ecosystem is one of the main goals of our project. With this goal in mind, the project conducts activities with the community to raise awareness on sustainable tourism. We use different communication and environmental education approaches to put forth our vision of nature conservation as an opportunity for economic prosperity in the region.
We promote and participate in events and lectures aimed at tourists and professionals involved in leisure activities and embarked tourism. Our actions also include the production of educational material (games and booklets) and communication material (videos, posters and posts on social networks) for all ages. In this way, we teach recommended practices to reduce the impact of tourist activities on the environment and disseminate the region’s potential for the development of sustainable tourism.
